A SAWN-OFF shotgun, drugs and suspected stolen documents were found in raids on houses in Trowbridge.
Police raided three homes following an attempted burglary at Chantry TV in Bradley Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Up to 137 doses of LSD, or acid, with an estimated street value of nearly £500, a sawn-off shotgun and six shotgun cartridges were found in a house off Canal Road.
Passports, driving licences, birth certificates and Premium Bonds were seized from the same address. Police believe the documents are connected with car thefts in Trowbridge last year.
Police executed three warrants following the raid on the TV shop at 3am on Saturday.
Two men were arrested and charged in connection with the burglary at Chantry TV.
Tommy Burton, 22, of Westfield Close, appeared before magistrates in Chippenham on Monday and was remanded in custody.
Mark Cleere, 35, of Cross Street, was due to face a charge of burglary at Chippenham Magistrates' Court yesterday morning. He is also facing charges of possessing a prohibited weapon, possessing class A drugs and two counts of theft.
