284062A HUGE frame of natural objects is hanging from the ceiling of Keevil Primary School, after pupils won a visit from a local artist.
Pascale Barrett, a picture framer from Wingfield, visited the school for two days as part of its Big Arts Week.
The theme was the natural world and all 62 children brought in something to add to the frame, such as flowers and soil.
Teacher Jayne Bullock said: "The children absolutely loved it and they are always coming in and peering up at the frames.
"They worked so quietly they were so engrossed in it. It was wonderful."
The three classes at the school each had their own frame, measuring two metres by one metre.
The frames were fitted with a string mesh so each child's natural specimen could be put between plastic sheets and slotted into the frame.
The frames were then joined together and hung from the hall ceiling.
