A WOMAN from Trowbridge will find out today whether frozen embryos which offer her last chance to have a child of her own must be destroyed.
Natallie Evans, 32, has taken her battle to save the embryos, created with a former partner, to the Court of Appeal, which will announce its judgement in the landmark case this morning.
The six embryos were created and placed in storage after Miss Evans underwent cancer treatment that left her infertile.
She and her fianc, Howard Johnston split up in 2002 and he then withdrew his permission for the embryos to be used.
The case was heard in the High Court in June last year but the judge ruled against Miss Evans.
She successfully applied to
take the case to the Court of Appeal and it was heard in March this year.
