A SPECIAL dance group will be the headline act at a village fete near Faringdon today.
The group, called Pandemonium, are raising the roof at the fete at Shellingford.
The fete is being held on the extensive school grounds and community hall and was due to open at 2pm.
Pandemonium perform traditional folk and ceilidh music on guitar, mandolin, concertina, recorder, melodeon and percussion.
On offer there will also be a bouncy castle, lucky dip and pottery wheel demonstrations as well as bowling and other competitions, games and stalls including favourites such as cakes, plants and tombola books and bric-a-brac.
Cream teas, ice creams and cold drinks will be served throughout the afternoon.
Entry is 50p for adults and free for children.
All proceeds from the event will go to the St Faith's Church restoration fund.
