31045-31New College art students strutted their stuff at their first end of year fashion show.
The Beautiful World show comprised 17 sets of outfits inspired by Indian, African and Thai cultures, which were developed on the two-year textiles and fashion course at the college.
Around 30 models from New College, most of whom created the pieces themselves, took to the catwalk on Thursday.
The students, from the AS and vocational A-Level courses, created the items for coursework and exam.
They demonstrated the full range of techniques and processes available in textile construction, including block printing, silk screened, dyeing, embroidery, embellishing and felting.
Exhibits ranged from bodices, clubbing wear, sarongs, shawls and scarves to accessories such as hats and handbags.
