IF you fancy a night of music and high camp fun, take a trip to Swindon's Wyvern Theatre next month.
Four Poofs and a Piano, featured in the BBC TV show Friday Night With Jonathan Ross, will be tinkling the ivories on July 9.
Described as more hairdresser than barbershop, this entertaining ensemble serves up a repertoire of ballads, show tunes, classical and pop music, along with generous helpings of humorous banter.
The group formed four years ago and made its debut at the Groucho Club, in Soho.
In 2001 Four Poofs and a Piano became resident band on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.
Since then their songs have welcomed star guests on the show, including Elton John, Paul McCartney and Liza Minnelli.
In May they produced their own successful show called Live at Last, at the Kings Head Theatre in London.
The talented group has also backed Bonnie Tyler for her re-release of Holding Out For A Hero and is currently working on an album, which will be released later this year.
Nick Shaw, general manager at the Wyvern Theatre, said: "These guys are mad, bad and dangerous to know. It's their first time at the Wyvern and promises to be a great night out."
Tickets cost £14.50. For bookings call 01793 524481.
