THREE teenagers were injured and taken to hospital after the car they were in spun out of control and collided with a double decker bus on the A345 near the Beehive roundabout, just outside of Salisbury on Saturday.
The Peugeot 205, travelling towards the city, had just left the roundabout when it went out of control and, after hitting the bus, ended up on a traffic island.
The driver of the car, a 17-year-old from Salisbury, and one on his passengers, an 18-year-old man from Amesbury were both admitted to Salisbury District Hospital with serious injuries.
A second passenger, a 17-year-old youth from Salisbury, was released from hospital after treatment for minor injuries. No one on the bus was hurt.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the accident, which blocked the road for three hours.
