WILTSHIRE were made to slog in the field and then struggle with the bat as Wales seized command on the second day of their Minor Counties Western Division clash at South Wilts yesterday.
Replying to Wiltshire's 354 all out, Wales moved their score from 96-1 overnight to 407 all out, Grant smashing 126 not out for the visitors.
There were also half-centuries for Harrison (58), Watkins (58) and Cherry (50).
And the Welsh bowlers soon got stuck in, leaving Wiltshire 153-7 at the close.
Baqar Rizvi scored 57 and Steve Perrin 51, but with only three second-innings wickets in hand, the home side held a lead of exactly 100 going into today's final day.
