both Biddestone under 13 and under 15 cricket teams won through to their respective county finals following wins over Calne and South Wilts.
Biddestone under 15s entertained South Wilts. The visitors lost the toss and were asked to bat by Biddestone skipper Ritchie Stone.
The home side bowled tightly and backed up with some excellent fielding, South Wilts found progress slow.
Openers James Glover (17) and Tom Pearce (22) put on 30 for the first wicket before Glover was bowled by Josh Barnes.
Wickets fell regularly, and only Chris Mann (18) threatened to push the score on. For Biddestone, Alex Leadbeater (1-14) and Josh Taylor (2-23) bowled well. South Wilts reached 95-5 from their 20 overs.
In reply, Sam Boor (14) gave the home side a bright start. Josh Barnes (27) and Tom Needham (22) then took the game away from the visitors with some skilled and swift running.
Chris Casey (18 not out) and John McIlhinney saw Biddestone home at 95-4 with three overs to spare. For South Wilts Tom Pearsc took 2-28.
Biddestone now face arch rivals Chippenham in the final at Swindon County Ground on Wednesday, July 7. The winners go on to represent Wiltshire in the national finals.
Biddestone under 13s reached the county cup final for the second successive year with victory at Calne by five runs.
Batting first, Tim Knight and Martin Sawyer started positively and after Knight was bowled for 21, Sawyer went on to 31 where he had to retire under competition rules.
Andrew Lawton made 23, and Luke Edwards bowled tightly for Calne, conceding just six runs from his four overs.
With two maidens to finish the innings, the score of 92 looked a little short of a winning total.
Courtney Earl, who scored 150 against Biddestone earlier in the season, was always going to be the key wicket.
The tide turned in favour of Biddestone when Nat Jansen got the breakthrough, capturing Courtney for just 17, thanks to a boundary catch from Andrew Lawton.
Josh Boulton took the other prize scalp of Luke Edwards for 11.
With seven needed off the last over, James Harper came back to bowl an accurate over, conceding a single run to seal victory.
