CYCLISTS from across Swindon are encouraged to get pedalling for a good cause and possibly win a new bike.
A sponsored White Horse Bike Ride and Treasure Hunt at 10am on Sunday, July 11 will see participants complete a 25-mile circular course beginning and ending at Stanton Park, taking in some of Wiltshire's finest countryside.
There will be clues along the way as part of a treasure hunt with prizes on offer.
Organiser Jacquie Sheppard said: "It should be a lot of fun. Riders will be given clues of things to look out for as they cycle.
"There are bike prizes for whoever spots the most."
The ride marks the start of a series of charity events as part of Swindon Cares, a week-long fundraising drive that, in the past, has earned thousands of pounds for various charities.
Jacquie added: "People can sign up on the day for £10 if they wish but if they sign up beforehand it is £6 and they will get a free T-shirt."
