Ref. 31089-05 Nicky Bint, Anne Walton, Jo Mitchell and Sue Rolfe, of Drove VetsVETERINARY staff are undergoing a vigorous SAS training course in aid of charity.

Four women who work at the Drove Veterinary Centre signed up to the challenge without realising how tough it would be.

But they are bracing themselves for a hard weekend next month so they can secure £3,000 in sponsorship for Guide Dogs For The Blind.

Mother-of-two Jo Mitchell, 33, is a veterinary nurse.

She said: "We didn't realise what we were signing up for.

"We sent off the initial fee and the details came later.

"We are all getting a bit nervous.

"I'm not looking forward to the limited sleep and limited food but I am looking forward to the challenge.

"I think we are all looking forward to SAS soldiers running behind us!

"It was a new year's resolution to get fit and raise a bit of money as well."

The other people taking part are veterinary doctor Anne Walton, 40, veterinary nurse Sue Rolfe, 37, and receptionist Nicky Bint, 19,8

The centre held a fun day this weekend, which raised nearly £3,000 for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
