AN art exhibition by artist Jane Faulkner, which is in a gallery in a newsagent's, is being extended.
The exhibition is being held in the cellar of Barnett Brothers in the High Street.
Sanjeevan Garcha and her husband Jasvir Singh, an art director in the advertising industry, converted the cellar after taking over the newsagents, which was established in the 1940s, last year.
The couple have hosted many exhibitions since renovating the cellar to give free space to local artists.
Mr Singh said: "This is the most exciting and popular exhibition so far."
"Jane's work has proved so popular that the exhibition has been extended by a few weeks."
Jane Faulkner studied at Bath Academy of Art and Central School of Art, London.
Her early work involved sculpture, performance and film, followed by a period where she produced large photo-silkscreen works. She began painting several years ago.
She has exhibited all around the United Kingdom.
