HIGHWORTH library will be alive with the sound of music next week.
Youngsters will be banging drums and blowing whistles at a fun-filled musical storytime. Local resident Dawn Golton hopes the event will introduce youngsters to the joys of books.
Sue Haymer, of Highworth library, said: "This is the first time we have held an event like this. It is free, and we hope to hold more in the future. It's a great, fun way to get children into the habit of reading."
Pre-school children are invited to attend from 2.15pm on Thursday, July 8.
Further details are available from the library itself on 01793 463500.
