Sherston Rainbows group will have to close at the end of this term unless more volunteers step forward to help.
Group leader Sarah Kamp is looking for someone to either help with administrative tasks such as preparing notes and letters for parents, or someone to help plan arts and crafts for the girls and prepare the sessions.
She said if the volunteers also felt able to help at any of the meetings, then that would be welcomed, but is not essential.
"It doesn't matter whether you're the mum or dad of a Rainbow past, present or future, whether you're retired, or whether you just have a few hours you could spare at evenings or weekends," she said.
"No previous experience is necessary, and it doesn't matter what age you are."
The Rainbows is a group for girls aged between five and seven, before they join the Brownies.
Anyone who could offer any help can contact Sarah Kamp on (01666) 840704 or Scout Group chairman Richard Langley on (01666) 840112.
