Wiltshire Cricket League: DARREN Walker's career-best haul of 9-35 still could not prevent Blunsdon 2nd from defeat at the hands of third-placed United Churches 2nd in Division Eight of the Crusader Wiltshire Cricket League.
Churches consolidated their position with a 19-run home victory.
David Sims (51) top scored for the Churches in their total of 147 all out.
Mike Wilson dominated for Blunsdon, making 78 of their 128 all out. Paul Lang (3-31) and Nick Offer (3-34) were the pick of Churches bowlers.
The only other match to take place was in Division Two.
Lechlade hosted to Buscot Park and gained a six-run victory which moved them in to second place.
Lechlade were bowled out for 152 with Matt Southall scoring 52. Ian Millar had 6-28 in his 15 overs.
In the reply, Nick Phillips scored 43 but Chris Payne (4-29) and a tight spell of 15-10-13-1 by Matt Southall restricted Buscot to 146-9.
