Hampton Park 289-5 bt Damerham 113 by 176 runs
(Hampshire League - Regional Division Three North West)
DAMERHAM won the toss and asked Hampton Park to bat first, which soon proved a mistake.
After losing one of their openers a second wicket partnership of 106 took the home team to 120-2 with Lawrence Eakers, 60, celebrating his maiden league half century.
This was followed by another 100 stand for the third wicket before Mike Fiddy was dismissed for 50, taking the total to 242-3.
During these high partnerships Gary Stafford was steadily helping himself to an excellent 130, which included 18 boundaries and set a formidable total of 289-5.
The visitors enjoyed a good start with both openers scoring freely, including Colbourne, 17.
But once Harvey was superbly caught by Will Burton for 20, Damerham started to lose wickets thanks to the miserly Mickey Potter, who registered 10-5-11-2.
With the score on 86-5, the introduction of 13-year-old Chris Dickinson proved decisive.
The youngster wrapped the game up swiftly by taking three wickets with the last four balls of his second over.
