The public turned out in force on Saturday as they made the most of a rare chance to see inside a Trowbridge company.
Consortium, of Hammond Way, Trowbridge, normally sells its goods to commercial organisations rather than individuals.
The company, which sells a variety of wholesale goods, opened its doors to the public on Saturday and more than 1,000 people went through the doors.
The reasons for the open day were for the public to see what goes on at the company and also to raise money for cancer research.
There were a variety of attractions on show including a bouncy castle, a trampoline and a surf rider.
The public also had the chance to bid for goods in a general auction and by the end of the day £3,165 had been raised for cancer research.
Jo Trigg, Consortium marketing manager, said: "It was a great day for everyone. Normally people don't get the opportunity to have a look round the business so it is nice they could do that.
"The amount of money we raised was probably better than we could have expected and we are now well on our way to our year's target of £5,000.
