15398/5VULNERABLE and elderly residents are being delivered the latest tool to help emergency services deal with accidents and illness.
Warminster Lions Club is distributing 3,000 white and green plastic containers for the 'Message in a Bottle' scheme.
The bottles are free of charge and contain records on medication, allergies, next-of-kin and who to contact in an emergency.
The scheme aims to bring piece of mind to people living on their own and is supported by the ambulance service, the fire brigade and Warminster police.
George Witts, president of Warminster Lions, said: "We have 3,000 of these bottles ready."
