15390 PEOPLE from all over west Wiltshire flocked to Trowbridge on Sunday for a Picnic in the Park, despite the threat of rain.
A free concert, a fun fair, raffles and inflatables were among the fun and games on offer.
Providing the musical entertainment were new all-girl band Star Burstz, up and coming band Caffeine Kill, who performed an acoustic set, and pupils from Clarendon, John of Gaunt and Matravers schools. Youngsters from the Lindsey Howard Academy of Dance also performed for the crowds.
Organisers estimate the event raised £500.
The money will be donated to Save the Children, which is celebrating its 80th birthday this year.
The donation will go towards the Skip a Treat campaign it is running at the moment.
