A children's party is to be held to mark the opening of a new play area at the Brunel Shopping Centre in Swindon.
The free indoor play park, in the Upper Arcade near TKMaxx, is designed to give children a fun place to play and parents the chance to take a break between bouts of shopping.
To celebrate the opening of Playworld, which features soft climbing equipment and games, the Brunel is hosting a children's party next Thursday at 4.30pm.
The party will be a free event for the 150 children who contributed to the design of the play area.
Earlier this year, pupils from local nurseries and primary schools took part in the Playworld art competition, and the best 150 entries have been incorporated into the play area's design.
The winner of the art competition, Samuel James of Wanborough Primary School, will officially open Playworld after the Mayor has presented his school with the first prize of £1,000.
Nick Beaumont-Jones, Centre Manager of The Brunel, said: "Playworld is a unique experience. It will make visits to The Brunel easier for parents knowing that there is a conveniently located facility where young children can be entertained.
"We are excited to be launching this new attraction."
