DEVIZES Town and Wootton Bassett Town could go head-to-head for the right to face Wiltshire heavyweights Salisbury City in the first qualifying round of next season's FA Cup.

The Screwfix Direct Premier Division outfit now bossed by Mark Godley are scheduled to meet Hellenic League Bassett in a preliminary round tie on September 4 if Devizes can first dispose of fellow Screwfix side Exmouth in an extra preliminary round clash a week earlier on August 28.

Salisbury now an Isthmian League Premier Division side await the winners on September 18.

Another intriguing preliminary round tie on September 4 sees Dr Martens Division One West Swindon Supermarine host Screwfix side Calne in a north Wiltshire derby.
