Sarah NewmanSwindon councillors are to meet with representatives from Kennet and North Wiltshire Primary Care Trust over the future of two Wiltshire maternity units.
They are expected to discuss how proposals to close Malmesbury and Devizes maternity units will affect Swindon women.
Old town mother Sarah Newman, 38, said: "The consultation with Swindon councillors could have been organised months ago. The PCT has known that its proposals will affect choices for Swindon women throughout this consultation."
She added that most pregnant women in Swindon are not told they can have their baby in Malmesbury, but a significant number use the unit there.
The meeting will take place on July 15 at 7pm at Swindon Civic Offices.
