BATH have strengthened the Australian presence on their coaching staff with two new recruits from Down Under.
Scott Murphy is the Rec's new strength and conditioning coach, while Chris Gaviglio joins as his assistant.
Murphy was at leading AFL club Brisbane Lions and is widely regarded as one of the leading experts in his field, helping the club win three AFL Premierships on the trot between 2000 and 2003.
A former Queensland Schoolboys rugby vice-captain, he had four years as a track and field coach at the Queensland Academy of Sport.
Gaviglio a former Australian discus champion arrives to fill the role he performed for Australia at last year's World Cup.
Bath gather for pre-season training this week, with summer signings winger Joe Maddock, from Canterbury, and scrum-half Nick Walshe, from Sale Sharks joining their new teammates.
Back row Gareth Delve, and wings Brendon Daniel and Lee Best will also report for full training after being injured last season.
