SWINDON'S town crier Fred Ferris is warming up his vocal cords to reveal the full programme of the Swindon Summer Festival.
He will be crying out the festival's line-up today at 11am at the Jubilee Clock in Swindon town centre.
The five-day festival, kicks off in the Parade on July 14 with the Gandini Jugglers.
It will feature more than 70 different performances.
Saturday, July 17 signals the start of the Big Weekend, which opens with an Atlantis carnival parade through the town centre.
It is planned to involve nearly 200 local children.
About 45 street performers will be entertaining the crowds by playing music, walking the trapeze and performing acrobatics.
The festival, which is sponsored by Reckitt Benckiser and organised by Swindon Council's Artscape, will also feature dance, comedy and acrobatics displays from Kenya and China.
