Last November, the Advertiser reported the arrival of 19 cardiology nurses all eager to make an impact on the state-of-the-art hospital.
Elizabeth Fitzpatrick was part of the hospital team who interviewed some 60 Filipino candidates in the summer. She said: "They were all very interested in coming here and working with us.
"These nurses take their training and skills very seriously."
