WINSLEY secured their place in Bristol and North Somerset League Division One for next season with a six wicket win at home to Hambrook on Saturday.
A second wicket partnership between Andy Ellett (68 not out) and Kunal More (86) did the damage and captain John Spencer has now got his sights on a third place finish.
He said: "Our first priority was to ensure we survive and now that is done we can look to build and progress.
"We are fifth in the league but the way the results went means we can still get in the top three, even though I had ruled that out last week.
"We have got Portishead away tomorrow and if we can win that hopefully we can move up the table."
After winning the toss, Hambrook elected to bat and some tight Winsley bowling restricted them to 50-2 off 23 overs.
Hambrook then recovered and an innings of 70 from Pete Wheeler helped them to 184-9, with 40 scored off the last five overs.
After the early loss of Spencer for 10, More and Ellett took the score to 170-1 before More was bowled with victory within touching distance.
Despite the loss of two further wickets Winsley cantered to the win with four overs remaining.
