ALAN DYTON splits his Shrivenham squad into two for a pair of pre-season fixtures this evening.
The first batch likely to be the stronger of the two teams take on old rivals Faringdon in the first round of the Faringdon Thursday Cup.
A second side travels to Carterton as preparations continue for the the Hellenic League season which begins on August 21.
The two games give Dyton the opportunity to look at the club's new signings and further likely additions.
Luke Alford and Paul Carson (Purton), Paul Titcombe (Supermarine) and Russ Byrne (Highworth) have already put pen to paper, with Neil Bridges (Wootton Bassett), Mark Stevens (Wantage Town), Martin Thomson and Steve Avenell (Purton) set to follow.
Highworth entertain Purton, with Sean Terry and new signing Steve Richardson back in the squad.
Paul Cooper and Pete Macklin have also signed new deals for the new season.
Biddestone will be given a good indication of what they can expect in their first season in the Screwfix League when they host Premier Division neighbours Corsham.
