13726/2The theory of dogs resembling their owners was put to the test at a fun dog show recently.
The event took place at Manor Farm, Little Somerford in aid of Macmillan cancer relief.
The dogs competed in categories and people got in on the act too by competing in events such as the dog most like its owner. There was even a prize for the owner and dog with the most beautiful pair of legs.
Steward Peter Adam said the event raised over £1,000 and was great fun.
Mr Adam said: "I think everyone especially the children enjoyed it. We had all sorts of dogs from terriers to spaniels and even a French basset hound."
The funniest dog was Zippy a Norfolk terrier.
Mr Adam said: "Zippy deserved all the attention, because he has a fat round body and head with tiny little legs, and he is very lazy."
