A SWIMMING coach jailed for a string of sex assaults on a 13-year-old girl faces fresh charges of producing indecent photos of children.
Stephen Hartley, formerly of Hawkeridge Park, Westbury, appeared before Chippenham magistrates on Friday charged with 14 counts of taking or making such images between October 2002 and October 2003.
In January the 49-year-old was jailed for three-and-a-half years after admitting four counts of indecent assault and one of gross indecency.
The former voluntary coach with Warminster and District Amateur Swimming Club was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and banned from working with children and young people.
On Friday, Hartley, now of Channings Wood Prison, Newton Abbot, Devon, did not enter a plea on the latest charges and was remanded in custody. His case is set to be committed to crown court after a hearing on October 1.
