WESTBURY'S White Horse has made it to the short-list in the search for Wiltshire's favourite heritage landmark.
Twelve sites are battling to be the people's choice as the winner of the Window on Wiltshire's Heritage poll.
The poll was launched in 2002, when work started on the Window on Wiltshire's Heritage website, a project to put the county's history and culture on the internet.
Entries have been whittled down to 12 and voting is now entering its final phase.
The other candidates are Avebury, Brunel's Box Tunnel, Figsbury Ring, Kennet and Avon Canal, Malmesbury Abbey, North Meadow at Cricklade, Old Wardour Castle, Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Stourhead, and Swindon Railway Village and Works.
The winner will be announced when the website is launched at Salisbury and South Wiltshire Museum on September 17.
