ANGRY residents turned out in force on Monday to protest against a plan to build four new houses next to their Melksham homes.
People living in Addison Road and Southbrook Road spoke out at a meeting of Melksham Town Council. They are worried if a planning application for the homes and a garage is given permission, it will devalue their homes and impact on their privacy.
The town council also objected to the proposal on the grounds it would be over-development of the site and out of keeping with the surrounding area. It will now be considered by West Wiltshire District Council.
