CANDIDATES have been nominated for town council by-elections in Trowbridge and Bradford on September 2.
Three candidates have been nominated for each vacant seat.
For the Trowbridge College ward seat, left vacant by the
resignation of Steve Squires, Arthur Ransom (Lib Dem) from Broadmead, Philip Seager (Con) from Rossett Gardens and Timothy Unsworth (Green) from Westfield Close, have been nominated.
For the Bradford South ward seat, left vacant by the death of Minna Gillham, Gwendoline Allison (Con) from Trowbridge Road, David Bolwell (Lib Dem) from Avonfield Avenue, and Iain Forbes, an Independent candidate from Trowbridge Road, have been nominated.
Residents from each ward who are registered to vote will be sent poll cards.
Applications for postal votes are available from (01225) 770312 and must be returned to West Wiltshire District Council by 5pm on Tuesday August 24.
