I'm fed up with these anti-smoking do-gooders, all those who complain no doubt are car owners. What I say to them is get rid of your cars and buy a bicycle or an electric vehicle.
Some days going in to town the fumes that are emitted from your vehicles is unbelievable, you can practically chew it at times. It also doesn't do the environment any favours.
I don't know what the statistics are but I would like to know how many cigarettes you have to smoke for the equivalent to driving one mile in your car.
Don't you anti-smokers also realise that smoking is a drug just like alcohol?
If they ban smoking in pubs and clubs they will be half empty which means the government will lose millions in taxes.
I will leave that thought to your imagination what would happen then.
P REYNOLDS,
Trowbridge.
