28530FACE painting and bouncy castles helped drive away the summertime blues as children flocked to a church fun day in Trowbridge.
Tin Tots parent and toddler group, based in Hilperton, celebrated its second annual fun day at St Mary's Church on Monday, with nearly 40 children turning up to take part in the festivities.
Children were rewarded for raising money through a sponsored obstacle course last month, with a day of fun and frolics.
A paddling pool and sandpit helped give the day a beach feel, as revellers braved the stormy downpours.
The group was set up five years ago to give parents a chance to socialise, while their children let off steam.
Organiser Di Lavis said the children enjoyed their day of treats: "It was quite hectic especially when the rain came down.
"The club is for children up to the age of seven so parents can come and have a cup of coffee while the kids play."
