CORSHAM Town make the long trek to Torrington for their first ever Screwfix League Premier Division fixture.
Manager Nobby Bush said: "This is an historical weekend for the football club and I hope we produce a performance to live up to it.
"We've had a good pre-season and hopefully we can take that form to Torrington."
High-profile new recruit Colin Towler misses the game for a wedding, as does frontman Dave Kilmurray.
But former Devizes player-boss Dave Hopkins is set to turn out for the Southbankers.
Mark Godley, Hopkins' successor at Devizes, begins his tenure with the visit of Hallen to Nursteed Road.
Godley will be without summer signing Brian Kayll who is unavailable, while forward Dave Lloyd faces a fitness test on a calf strain.
Nathan Perkins will not be featuring either after declining a deal to stay at the club.
Elsewhere in the Premier, Melksham open with a trip to Exmouth.
In the First Division, Calne begin with a trip to Almondsbury, while league newcomers Biddestone who open with four successive away fixtures travel to Dawlish.
