Over the next few months, Swindon's Steam Museum will be hosting a large number of topical events.
Starting on August 21 and running every fortnight until November 20, the museum is giving people the chance to meet the previous employees of the GWR railway works.
On September 18 and 19, the museum has organised a railway convention.
It runs from 10am to 5pm and celebrates Swindon's railway heritage with model railway layouts, displays and guided tours of the Swindon Works site.
From August to September the museum will be running a display to commemorate the centenary of the Swindon company Thamesdown Transport.
On October 23 and 34, children will have the chance to meet Thomas the Tank engine and The Fat Controller.
There will be craft activities, storytelling, face painting, competitions and quiz trails.
