I REALLY do think the letter from Suzanne Blake, (EA Mon, Aug 2) was rather unfair.
Please Suzanne, don't condemn all us elderly drivers because of one elderly lady's carelessness. I'm sure the majority of elderly drivers are compassionate, and courteous, and also careful drivers.
Perhaps it would be a better idea if the age limit to hold a vehicle licence was raised to 25, by that age, the boy/girl racer, with 50 decibels of in-car window rattling music (noise), and the facial expressions of a slack jawed idiot, the ones who give you the one finger salute when they pass you at 50mph in a 30mph zone, yes, maybe at that age (25) they will start to grow out of it and start driving in an adult manner. And how many will still have their licence when they get to our (elderly) age?
