SWINDON & District Women's Bowling Association competitions have reached an advanced stage.
In seven of the events the field has been reduced to the last four.
The exception is in the President's Triples where G Nash, J Daniel and Sybil Wyles beat Maureen March, Maureen Rogers and Barbara Twine in an all-Wootton Bassett final.
Only the Highworth mother and daughter combination of Herta and Linda Kingston are still on course to retain a title and are through to the semi-finals in the pairs.
Linda is also through to the last four in the Champion of Champions and Secretary's Cup, while Herta is in the semi-finals in the four wood singles.
Wootton Bassett, the club of 2004 president Jan Charles, hosts the S&D women's finals day on September 5.
