NEW awards will be presented to enterprising residents in Wiltshire.
Queen's awards will be given to people who play a significant role in encouraging entrepreneurial skills and attitudes in others.
Up to ten awards will be given annually for enterprise champions and other accolades will include a lifetime achievement award.
As the Queen's representative in Wiltshire, the county's Lord Lieutenant, Sir Maurice Johnston, welcomed the new awards.
He said: "This award is for those who inspire others the go-ahead people who champion initiatives such as innovative business start-ups, inspirational training schemes and enterprising activities among young people or disadvantaged communities.
"It is for entrepreneurs who can be role models for others.
"It is an award that gives Britain a chance to celebrate commercial success just as we celebrate success in other fields such as sport of films."
People can be nominated for the award up until midnight on October 31.
Nomination forms are available on The Queen's Awards website: www. queensawards.org.uk or by calling 0207 222 2277.
