WITH reference to Tony Price and his search for his missing canine companion as reported in Monday's Advertiser.
While myself and many others sincerely hope that they will be reunited unharmed, I cannot accept that your reporter was right to describe Tony as an elderly man.
At 62 there is absolutely no reason why these words were used and certainly his picture did not reveal his true age that looked much younger.
Is there some conspiracy taking place amongst the young who feel life, as we know it ends at say middle 30's and anyone over that age is on the heap?
If there is, please can you inform my sister who has just dismounted the horse she was riding and is now off swimming making the most of her day off work.
Or, as your reporter would have it, shall I oil the wheels of the family bathchair and offer her a sweet sherry to while away those, older, quality time moments now she is 62.
