A WILTSHIRE charity for the blind has appointed a fundraising manager in order to make up a shortfall.
Wiltshire Blind Association has appointed Caroline Langmaid, formerly of the RNIB, to raise the £20,000 necessary to continue funding for their projects and services.
Among the services threatened are the individual co-ordinators, who give support, help and advice on new equipment.
Fundraising events already planned include a sponsored abseil and adventure activities such as tandem parachuting.
Anyone wishing to help by donating or volunteering should telephone 01454 777674.
