MARK COLLIER wants to turn Supermarine's Hunts Copse ground into 'a fortress' this season.
The South Marston club have had a happy habit of picking up surprise wins on the road since their promotion to the Southern League three years ago like the 3-2 opening day triumph at Bedworth on Saturday.
But favourable results in front of the home faithful have been more elusive.
Evesham visit the Copse tonight, and Collier is hoping to change that.
"I would love to make it a fortress here," he said.
"It's such a big pitch that I think other teams enjoy coming here and playing football. It's something we need to change this season."
Evesham, managed by former Coventry defender Dave Busst, also started the Division One West campaign with a 3-2 win, at home to Rothwell.
Collier welcomes back Steve Davies and Tony Joyce from holiday.
Steve Bennett is still struggling with a calf strain but he played through the pain at the weekend.
The early pace setters in the Southern League Premier Division collide at Hardenhuish Park tonight as Chippenham entertain Solihull Borough.

But Solihull were equally impressive in beating Hemel Hempstead 5-0.
Martin Paul, who was on target at the weekend, is Chippenham's main injury worry with a heel problem so Sam Allison is standing by.
Ellis Wilmot also faces a fitness test after picking up a dead leg.
