Artistic director Juliet Reid, Charles Rodwell and gallery director Kevin MoneyA SWINDON gallery is hosting a one-man show by a Wiltshire artist.
Gallery 39 in Godwin Court, Old Town, runs as a shop and gallery and this month is hosting an exhibition of work by Calne artist Charles Rodwell.
Mr Rodwell was born in Kenya in 1955 and was educated at Marlborough College, before studying at the Slade School of Fine Art in London.
Kevin Money, gallery director, said: "He is perhaps best known for his landscape painting, which ranges from representational to an increasingly impressionistic approach.
"When not at work in the landscape, he paints the figure exploring different ways of designing and abstracting the female form."
A regular exhibitor in Cork Street, London Mr Rodwell also teaches art courses and leads painting trips abroad.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, September 18.
