Wayne LanfearTHERE is still no sign of missing man Wayne Lanfear, who has not been seen for a week.
Mr Lanfear, 30, left his father's home in Wootton Bassett last Wednesday at 12.30pm. He was going to the bus stop in Longleaze Close but has not been seen since. His mother, with whom he lives in Old Town, Swindon, reported him missing the next morning.
Wayne is white, 6ft, with short dark blond hair and blue eyes. He has a dagger tattoo on his right forearm.
He was last seen wearing blue or black jeans, black trainers, a grey jacket and was carrying a red holdall with the word 'Travel' on it.
Mr Lanfear, who has severe learning difficulties, normally catches the 54 or 55 bus from Longleaze Close and returns to Swindon where he is met by his mother. But on Wednesday last week, his mother was unwell. It is believed he got on the 55 bus and police want to hear from passengers.
A police spokeswoman said: "We would like to make an urgent appeal for anyone who may have seen Wayne. "
Anyone who can help can contact Swindon police station on 01793 528111, quoting log reference 118/120804.
