GAZETTE & HERALD: Wiltshire's biggest annual charity plant sale will offer thousands of discounted plants for sale to raise money for the children's hospice Naomi House.
The sale will take place at Barbara Austin Perennials in West Kington on September 4 and 5.
More than 10,000 plants of 1,000 different types will be on sale at up half price when the trade only wholesale plant grower opens to the public as it does every year, for this one weekend, from 10am-5pm.
Money raised from the weekend will go to the children's hospice for the West Country and Bath Royal United Hospital's Cancer Support Group.
Last year's event saw more than 2,000 visitors raising over £5,000 and organisers are hoping that they can exceed these figures this year.
Visitors will also be able to see behind the scenes at the nursery. The 20 staff, who voluntarily run the weekend, will be holding planting demonstrations for visitors and a gardeners question time session.
There will be special children's activities.
The adjacent Pound Hill Garden will also be open as part of the fund-raising.
