Hundreds of walkers will be pulling on their boots and dusting off their waterproofs in readiness for the MS BIGFoot challenge, which kicks of tomorrow at St Francis School near Pewsey.
The 50-mile walking event is a fundraiser organised by the Multiple Sclerosis Society, with 250 people taking part over three days and camping overnight in a tent 'city' at Marlborough College.
The walkers will cover 15 miles on the first day, from Pewsey to Marlborough, 26 miles in the Marlborough area on Saturday, and nine miles to Rutland Farm at Avebury for the final victory walk.
Money raised will be used to support three key projects in Britain providing more MS nurses, the MRI scanner project and the MS tissue bank appeal.
