CORSHAM'S 77-run home win over Taunton St Andrews on Saturday killed of any threat of relegation.
Afterwards a relieved skipper Neil Shardlow said: "After having five of last season's regulars ripped out of the side, we've done well this season, because we expected a bit of a struggle.
"We've got two games left and I'll be looking for good performances in both, especially when we come up against (champions elect) Cheltenham on the last day of the season."
On Saturday, knocks of 88 from opener Peter Dennett, with support from Kaushik Aphale (58) and Roger Sillence (38), helped Corsham to a total of 231 off their 55 overs with Paul Short picking up 4 for 46 off 14 overs.
Taunton were never really in the hunt, Simon Taylor (31) top scoring, and Brian Hoyle (29 not out) helping his side to 154 all out in the 44th over.
Corsham's Richard Foley took 4 for 40 off 16 overs.
