GAZETTE & HERALD: Apologetic Richard Mott from Calne is sorry he cut up his partner's clothes with a knife when drunk and hopes that they can get through the incident stronger than ever.
Mr Mott, 34, from Anchor Road, who has not drunk alcohol since the event, cut up the clothes of his partner, Carol Hember, damaged a headboard and put a knife through the door of their bedroom over frustrations with his partner's Downs Syndrome daughter.
He said he hoped they could reconcile after the incident.
The clothes were orginally valued at £500 but this was reduced to £100. Mr Mott was granted conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £43 costs.
