I would like to thank the people of Wiltshire who gave so generously their money and time during Red Cross Week. We have now counted and banked the final monies and I am delighted to advise you that we have raised just over £22,300 in Wiltshire.
This money will be used to help with our emergency response activities and to help people locally, such as lending a wheelchair for a few weeks to enable them to get about after an operation. Someone just out of hospital may need help with shopping for a while (at present only available in Swindon). Therapeutic care and skin camouflage, along with first aid training in the community also benefit from fundraising.
Every penny is important as we rely on voluntary contributions throughout the year and without your help we would be unable to continue to support vulnerable people in Wiltshire. Once again thank you for your generosity.
