CYCLING from John O'Groats to Land's End didn't seem enough of a test for James Brabner and Richard Perkins.
The pair set off from mainland UK's most northerly point on Wednesday, but will cycle back to west Wiltshire once they hit the Cornish landmark.
Mr Brabner, 21, and Mr Perkins, 22, from Bratton, say the 1,500-mile ride is their biggest challenge yet. They hope to raise as much money as possible for Bath-based charity Send a Cow, which provides livestock and fruit trees to thousands of Africa's poorest families.
Mr Brabner said: "The route we are taking lasts 15 days and we'll be cycling 70 to 100 miles a day."
Mr Perkins said: "I'm a postman in Bradford on Avon so cycling on the job is my main training."
Anyone wishing to sponsor the pair can send cheques payable to Send a Cow, to James Brabner, Gate House, 59 Lower Road, Bratton, BA13 4RQ.
